A Successful Project

At Antes de Partir, A.C., we have been transforming lives for over 11 years as pioneers in palliative care in Mexico. Since its opening in 2019, Casa Colibrí Mexico City has seen great success, providing comprehensive, dignified, and compassionate care. However, the growing demand has pushed our capacity to its limits, making it difficult to accommodate patients from other states who urgently require these services.

To address this need, we have developed Colibrí Virtual, an innovative telemedicine platform set to launch in the second half of 2025. This program will expand palliative care nationwide, ensuring that more children and their families receive the support they need—regardless of their location. It is a reaffirmation of our commitment to transforming lives and bringing hope to those facing life’s most difficult moments.

Services

Colibrí Virtual will provide comprehensive care through the following services:

Remote Psychological, Thanatological, Medical, Nutritional, and Social Support
Online Supply of Medications, Polymer Diets, Diapers, and Medical Equipment Loans
A Digital Educational Library, featuring videos and tutorials designed to guide patients and their families.
Medicolibrí, a 24/7 AI-powered medical chatbot, available 365 days a year. It will answer frequently asked questions and act as a supportive tool, though it will never replace human intervention.

Through Colibrí Virtual, we will reach remote communities who have internet access but do not have available palliative care services, which will allow us to directly impact the lives of 860 pediatric patients and their families. This initiative will benefit more than 6,880 people across Mexico.
